Nestled amidst the undulating hills of the ancient land of Rarh, Ananda Nagar is the global headquarters of Ananda Marga. Glistening with austere beauty, its land, climate, clean air and mineral-rich water are all conducive to health, vitality and inspiration. It is a profoundly spiritually vibrated place, its red earth sanctified by the many sages of the past who have meditated there, making it ideal for spiritual practice. And Ananda Nagar includes many service projects such as schools, colleges, children’s homes, the Abha Seva Sadan hospital, naturopathic and other health clinics, numerous agricultural projects, the Uma Nivas women’s centre, and other social welfare and village development schemes. This film is an overview of its history to date.
For the occasion of the birth centenary of Shrii Shrii Anandamurti (Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar), the P.R. Sarkar Institute produced Embodiment of Bliss: The Life and Legacy of Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, a feature-length documentary film which takes us on a whirlwind tour of the life of modern-day tantric guru, spiritual master and social revolutionary extraordinaire, Shrii Shrii Anandamurti.
The film premiered in May 2021 with three global premiere screenings on 23, 26 and 30 May. These were followed by ten more global and dedicated event screenings throughout the rest of the year. The film can now be viewed on special occasions on the PR Sarkar Institute channel.
The films are accompanied by an exhibition and photo books.
